Members can request SDWW officers help in tenant-specific issues with the Port of San Diego.

Quarterly Newsletters are sent to all members in March, June, September, and December reporting on meetings SDWW officers held with the Port of San Diego’s Executive Leadership Group (ELG) and Port Commissioners, as well as providing  policy updates and a list of new members.

Members can submit information to be published in the newsletters. This includes photos, videos, and personal stories for a business highlight.

We follow our members on SDWW social media channels and can highlight businesses. Follow us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X.

The SDWW has committees dedicated to specific topics of interest to our diverse industries. They are:

Marine Recreation: It meets quarterly and encompasses yacht clubs, harbor tours, marinas, sportfishing and dock masters, Harbor Police, US Coast Guard.

Real Estate: It meets quarterly and is structured to be a learning experience about how the Port handles leases, redevelopment, and other tenant issues. The purpose is to build a partnership and share information on significant real estate policies and studies.

Environment Maritime: It meets three times annually and encompasses the maritime industrial tenants, shipyards, boat yards, cargo, marine terminal tenants, and any business with environmental or industrial issues with state, federal and local agencies.

An important part of any membership is access to standard Port Tenant Lease Templates.

The membership includes Invites to the three major SDWW Events: The Annual Dinner in Spring; Operation Clean Sweep in Summer; and the Golf Tournament in Fall.
